Heading east this fall? Here's a shrimp dish you won't want to miss!
- 8 c water
- 1 12oz bottle lager
- 1/2 c Old Bay Seasoning
- 1T salt
- 8 medium red potatoes
- 2 large sweet onions
- 2 lbs smoked sausage
- 8 ears of fresh shucked corn
- 4 pounds of peeled shrimp
- thickly sliced crusty bread

Combine water, lager, Old Bay and salt in large pot and bring to boil.
Add potatoes and onions and let boil for approximately eight minutes.
Next, add sausage and corn and let boil for seven minutes.
Do not submerge, but add shrimp to top of pot and steam until they are pink and opaque. This will take approximately two minutes.
Cover table with butcher paper or newspapers, then drain liquid in separate container. Empty the post on the covered table and pour drained liquid onto contents. Add crusty bread and other tasty dippings to the pile.
